Quinn I: Undaunted Men Series - J.C. Cliff, Sommer Stein, K.D. Robichaux, Soni Gillette 2 - 2.5 stars

I seem to be in the minority, but this book did not work for me. I did not buy into the romance at all. Quinn is a sleep with 'em and promptly dump them kind of guy, but the moment he meets Lexi, his latest assignment, he's smitten. I don't understand what made her the Special Snowflake, with her giggles, screaming, and other theatrics. Her maturity level was so not on par with his. Only their enforced proximity allowed him to develop any kind of feelings for her, but any other female could have replaced her in that scenario, and the result would have been the same. And the will they or won't they games dragged on forever. They were sharing a sleep bag for days on end, making it hard to believe that lusty Quinn would keep his hands off of Lexi (for the most part), considering his general regard for women.

The book is a quick read, and with pool-side lounging in the future, this would be a good beach read.

Be aware that this ends on a cliffhanger.
