At the Count's Bidding

I love the raw emotion of Crews writing, but the heroes - well, they are douche bags. At least Giancarlo groveled a bit before Paige took him back. There were so many issues with this book, like Giancarlo blaming Paige for getting pregnant because he THOUGHT she was on birth control. Jerk! He didn't even care enough to ASK about it! Paige was a doormat until the end because she did regret her actions in the past, but again, Giancarlo was so selfish he didn't even think that there might be more to what happened than Paige wanting money. Ugh! But the strength of the writing kept me turning the pages. I have to keep reading her books to see if all of the heroes are douche bags.
