The House of the Four Winds
4 starsI really enjoyed this, despite some pacing issues. I liked the protagonists, the bursts of action, and the sweet romance. I feel like I really got to know Clarice, and I thought she was brave, strong, and resourceful; just the person to have on an adventure like this. There should be a lot of appeal for younger readers looking to make that leap from YA fantasy. There is nothing objectionable for younger teens, and Clarice, at 18, would be an easy character for a teen to relate to.
