Terra Formars V.1

Terra Formars V.1 - Kenichi Tachibana, Yu Sagusa This review is based on the first 132 pages of the review galley - that's all there was out of a 216 page volume

2.5 - 3 stars

Slow start, but rapidly increasing body count made up for that. The premise is either incredibly silly or the utter genius; rag-tag band is sent to Mars to exterminate the lifeforms sent there years prior to ensure that the environment is terraformed for human life. And what are the lifeforms? Cockroaches! Lots of them, and they have evolved into humanoid, goofy looking things. The human crew sent to deal with them have been altered with the DNA of insects, so "bug wars" ensue. The cockroaches look campy, I'm not quite sure what was going on because there were so many empty word balloons, and just as I was getting interested, it crashed to an end. Still out on the fence about this series.
