Donna of the Dead
4 starsThis is a fun summer read, with a more tongue in cheek view of the zombie apocalypse. There are still hungry zombies, moments of pure terror, and every day is now a really bad hair day. I found the protagonist's POV refreshing, though I can see why several reviewers found her annoying and unlikeable. Donna of the Dead reminded me of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie (NOT the TV series), so if you have seen that, you know to expect bad jokes and plenty of camp.
