The Ranger's Texas Proposal
3.5 stars
This line isn't a good fit for me; I find some of them too preachy. Overall, I enjoyed The Ranger's Texas Proposal, up until the points where the characters for divine intervention / guidance. My friends don't usually quote Bible verses to justify / promote behaviors, so it is jarring to me when it happens in these books, and that's about the point when I start skimming. I might read more entries in this mini-series because I like the concept, but the execution doesn't always work for me. Inspirational romances work much better for me when they are in a historical setting.
